A passion for music keeps Victoria busy

CLARKSTON, WA - Clarkston High School senior Victoria Torchilo strives to achieve.

With just shy of a 4.0 GPA, excelling in school is just one of her many accomplishments.

"It's important to do well because you want to strive to be the best you can be, otherwise, what are you doing?" said Victoria. "You can't just slack off in life, you got to give it your all."

She's received multiple renaissance awards, is a member of the national honors society and has been on the tennis team for the past three years.

"You can't get off track," said Victoria. "You have to prioritize."

Victoria is an aspiring music producer and is interested in studying music composition and theory in college.

"You get to create something out of nothing," said Victoria. It's an outlet. To me, music is a way of life."

"I look up to my mother to do well because she has a great attitude about life and everything she does, she's patient and hard working," said Victoria.
