The Lewiston native and current city councilor said she's the right person for the job because she's an aggressive advocate for responsible management of District 6 complex issues.
She said she'll add a new balanced voice to the legislative team and is ready to make a difference at the state level.
"As a city elected official, I've had an opportunity to learn what effect the state laws and policies have on Lewiston and Nez Perce County communities," said Stevenson.
Stevenson has been an active city councilor for the past several years after serving on the Airport Advisory Board and other civic organizations. She said she has the passion to represent all voters of all parties in the district six communities and if elected will focus on economic opportunity, a strong future and responsible government.
