Johnson, who's served about a year as an Idaho State Senator for District 7 said that if re-elected, he'll continue to represent the people the best he can. He said he's deserving of re-election because his voice has been heard and his credibility with the state senate has prepared him for the start of the next legislative cycle.
"I think what's most important this election and going into the next session is that we have someone that will listen to the people and someone who can work with all groups of people," said Johnson.
Johnson said his ability to work across the aisle is vital and if re-elected he'll continue to do so. The Republican candidate currently holds a position as District 1 Commissioner for the Port of Lewiston and has worked with many families and small businesses as a consultant in North Central Idaho.
