Eggleston said citizen input at commissioner meetings are often ignored or disregarded and he said if he's elected he'll seek commentary from the public. He said he's been attending this year's budget meetings and is concerned with how finances are being handled.
"There are massive problems in the county with finances," said Eggleston. "I know they're having to go into the reserves now that's not something that can continue very long."
Eggleston has been a resident of Asotin County for more than 20 years. He is a retired eye surgeon and affiliates with the Republican party.
