Tonight, we introduce you to Pullman High School student Erin Keizur.
Pullman High School Senior Erin Keizur is a dedicated athlete.
"I've done three sports all four years, so I've done soccer, basketball and track," said Keizur. "I like them all, but I think soccer would be my favorite. My teammates are all my best friends."
Erin's also a dedicated student. And she has the 4.0 GPA to prove it.
"I think it's about time management," said Keizur. "And lots of homework on bumpy bus rides. And a few late nights. My favorite subject is anatomy. I think any science related class is really interesting."
Erin said she hopes to combine her love for sports and science, and work in the medical field.
"I think it's fascinating to be able to like help athletes, if they've had injuries, to kind of help them and get them back to playing sports," said Keizur.
Of course, Erin has years of schooling ahead of her before she obtains that dream career. But with her good grades and motivation, she has a pile of college acceptance letters to choose from.
"A couple days ago, I got accepted to UCLA," said Keizur. "But I still am kind of looking at some schools in Oregon, and a few other ones in California. Haven't decided quite yet."
Congratulations, Erin, you're this week's "Academic All-Star."
