Jessica Hadley's love of science has her majoring in ecology

LEWISTON, ID - KLEW cares about you and that's why each week during the school year, KLEW News teams up with Lewiston Orthopaedic Associates to highlight an outstanding local high school student.

Sophia Miraglio introduces us to Lewiston High School senior Jessica Hadley.

This Lewiston High School Bengal is a member of the National Honors Society, has a 4.0 GPA, and knows how to dream big after high school. Her name is Jessica Hadley, senior at Lewiston High School and this week's Academic All-Star.

"It definitely is using your time wisely, I usually just go home and do homework," said Hadley.

Jessica is on track to becoming a class valedictorian, however for now she's just enjoying all Lewiston High School has to offer.

"I loved biology sophomore year, and I took ecology last year and it was really fun," said Hadley.

And it's her love for high school science that she'll take with her to the next step in life.

"I plan on majoring in ecology, and hopefully going to the University of Montana or somewhere out of state," said Hadley.

Jessica's academic success is highlighted by her love for photography and participation in French Club.

Jessica's dreams will soon become reality, but for now she's is just enjoying her final year as a Bengal.

"I'm going to miss all the people I've met and the connections," said Hadley.

Congratulations Jessica for being this week's Academic All-Star.
