Preparing "To Do List" keeps Kayla's numerous activities prioritized

CLARKSTON, WA - KLEW cares about you, and that's why each week during the school year, KLEW News teams up with Lewiston Orthopedic Associates to highlight an outstanding local high school student.

She's the President of the student body, active in the National Honor Society and strives day in and day out for academic excellence. Her name is Kayla Dice, senior at Clarkston High School and this week's "Academic All-Star."

"I write down everything throughout my day in each class what homework I have and then I go through that checklist and make sure I get everything done that night," said Dice.

Which is why Kayla has a 3.9 cumulative GPA, and a very bright future ahead of her.

"I'm hoping to go into the medical field, either a physicians assistant or a doctor," said Dice.

A decision that was a easy choice to make.

"I really like to help people and I really like biology," said Dice.

And while those dreams will soon become reality, for now the student body president is just enjoying her final year as a Bantam.

''Through ASB make it a good year for our class and have something for younger class-man to look up to and live up to and try to make their senior year the best for them," said Dice.

When Kayla isn't studying, playing golf for the school, or participating in Deca, she'll be getting her hands dirty with other studious activities.

"I'm in FFA, so I take a pig to fair every month, so that's a lot of fun," said Dice.

Congratulations Clarkston High Cchool senior, Kayla Dice, for your excellence in and outside the classroom and for being this week's Academic All Star.
