This National Honor Society President has received multiple awards

LEWISTON, ID - A 4.0 is just one of many accomplishments Hannah Switzer's tackled during her time at Lewiston High.

The senior currently serves as the National Honor Society president and is a National Merit Scholarship Semi-Finalist. Working hard in school has certainly payed off for Hannah who has one goal in site.

"I've had a 4.0 so far, so I might as well keep going with that and graduate as a Valedictorian," said Hannah.

Hannah's received a multitude of awards from both the City of Lewiston Youth Advisory Commission and Distinguished Young Women. The FCCLA vice president said she looks up to her parents and thanks them for their support.

"They've encouraged me through high school, junior high and even elementary school to always do my best," said Hannah.

Hannah admits that she doesn't really know how she's able to get all of her school work done while juggling a number of extra curricular activities, but one thing's for certain, she doesn't disappoint.

"I just try to schedule all of my activities so they're not overlapping and then any extra time that I have is devoted to homework," said Hannah.

Hannah has plans to major in Biomedical Engineering, but remains undecided as to where she'll further her education.
