This science enthusiast also sports six athletic letters

CLARKSTON, WA - Laura Badgley has four academic letters, six athletic letters and has been a member on the Clarkston High School honor roll since ninth grade.

"Education pays off," said Laura . "I mean you need to study hard. If you don't end up going to college then those skills you work hard to obtain in high school really help, just in regular work life."

Laura loves science and will be going to Western Washington University in the fall to study biology with an emphasis in habitat studies.

"I think science is really important because we know a fraction of what we are living in," said Laura.

This senior loves to stay busy by playing basketball and golf, volunteering at the Humane Society and even has an after school job. So how does this talented young woman maintain a 3.8 GPA?

"I try, at least I try not to procrastinate very much," said Laura.
