Thompson bleeds red & black as Clarkston's ASB President

CLARKSTON, WA - Katie Thompson bleeds red and black through and through as Clarkston High School's ASB President.

"It feels good to have it pay off and be recognized for working hard," said Thompson.

Katie is focused on her goal of earning scholarships for college, and she's already accumulated more than 20 college credits at LCSC.

"I think when you're studying, rewarding yourself is good," said Thompson.

The honor roll student maintains a 3.75 GPA while being actively involved in ASB, LINK Crew and DECA. She said she wouldn't be where she is without her family.

"My mom and dad support me in everything I do," said Thompson. "They try to help me out as much as they can."

Katie's already been accepted to U of I but hopes to go somewhere that fits her many interests.

"Somewhere where I can get a good education but have fun at the same time," said Thompson.

Congratulations Katie, you're this week's Academic All Star.
