Tippett moved to the Lewiston area roughly ten years ago after serving four years as the Mayor of Yuma, Arizona and eight years as a city council member. The former Valley Vision Director said between his community involvement and past political experience, the county can trust him as their commissioner.
"I think the community wants to take a look at the individual they put in office, and the individual that has the background, experience, the knowledge, the contacts, the wisdom," said Tippett.
Tippett said he's the right person for the job because he's capable of making educated decisions and working towards feasible solutions. He said his primary focus will be on generating more jobs, which in turn, will improve the Valley economy and the county's fiscal ability.
