2 more suspects in Freeman HS car prowls arrested
SPOKANE, WA —
Detectives with the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office arrested two more suspects involved in the car prowls during last week’s Freeman High School shooting.
Investigators arrested 39-year-old Larry D. Flett and 37-year-old Renee C Mann on several felony charges, including theft, vehicle prowling, and identity theft.
Mann is the other woman caught on surveillance camera in a picture provided by authorities when the search began.
Nicole Jensen made a court appearance Tuesday in Spokane.
She was the first to be arrested, and admitted to investigators that she was one of the two caught on camera.
Deputies said she and Renee Mann used the stolen credit cards and fraudulently used checks, and racked up $36,000 in charges.
The car prowls happened during the panic and chaos when parents parked their cars on the side of Highway 27 and ran, some as far as mile away, to campus to see if their children were safe.
The victim whose purse was stolen in this case said her daughter was not hurt.
