Additional fire crews arrive to assist with Hurricane Creek Fire

JOSEPH, OR - The Hurricane Creek Fire, which is burning four miles southwest of Joseph, Oregon remains at zero-percent containment

However more crews are expected to arrive Thursday and assist in fighting the blaze.

"We expect another type two helicopter and a 14 crew to come with that, to arrive today," said Dave Schmitt. "And when they get here we will put those folks in the mix as well."

At this time crews are working on building fire lines around the perimeter. Fire bosses said the fire remains listed as uncontained until they feel comfortable that wind could not push the fire across those lines.
