American Empress docks at Port of Clarkston
CLARKSTON, WA —
“We are an overnight excursion boat, we’re 350-foot-wide, 12-foot draft, we do seven night cruises," said Ron Gray Jr. of American Empress.
The American Empress was getting ready to leave the Port of Clarkston.
The beautiful cruise ship will begin its voyage from the Port of Clarkston through the Northwest and end in Vancouver, Washington on Sunday stopping for a variety of activities in other ports including the Tri-Cities, The Dallas, and Astoria.
There’s even more to do on board the empress from dinners in the beautiful dining room to the onboard entertainment in the lounge or live acts in the theater. Guests can even relax on the outside patio areas and take in the sights.
The captain has been on the Columbia and Snake Rivers for 25 years. His father lives in Clarkston. He has been the captain the last four years on the Empress.
