"The advice I give for the holiday cleaning is the more advance we get and specific focal points that you need done," said house cleaner, Laura Knox. "You may not need the whole house cleaned or a detail clean of every room, but we want to know what your needs are for that event so we can make sure you are completely satisfied."
"When we look at complaints for housecleaning on Angie's List, we see them revolve around communication or quality of work," said Angie's List Owner, Angie Hicks. "So when it comes down to it, you want to be sure you are getting an estimate from someone in your home - they actually come and see the condition of your home before they give you the estimate. Depending on the size of your home you might pay anywhere from a couple hundred dollars, which is what we see on average on Angie's List, but we have seen it as much $700, but keep in mind that depends on the actual size of the home. "
"I really feel like you need to think about the time you invest every week in cleaning your own home and what you would prefer to do with that time," said homeowner Angela Duggan. "I know that I have children and I like spending time with them and it's to me the money is well worth it because I am spending that time with my children, with my family, not cleaning."
