Appaloosa Horse Museum 'Appy Fest' unplugged, natural fun

MOSCOW, ID - If you're looking for a fun, and educational activity that's fun for the whole family, consider checking out "Appy Fest" Thursday night.

This is an annual event at the Appaloosa Horse Museum and Heritage Center where kids can learn about the history of the Palouse region and its connection with the Nez Perce Tribe.

"I think of it as just old-fashioned, unplugged, all natural fun," said Appaloosa Horse Museum Board Member Steve Taylor. "We give chance to ride a horse, touch a horse, talk to the horse, color a horse, do some arts and crafts."

Shadow will be at Appy Fest to interact with the kids. This is a free event and it's Thursday from 5 till 8p.m. The museum is located off the Moscow-Pullman Highway right next to the Washington state line.
