An increase in water from rain and snow-pack has prompted Dworshak Dam to discharge water for at least a week. Leaders from the Army Corps of Engineers are advising boaters to stay alert on the water, as we could see a rise in river flows as early as today.
"Be aware of what's going on and how much water's coming down," said Gina Baltrusch. "Water fluctuates. You could find your vessel high and dry or you know if your lines to short you could find it sunk."
