Asotin Co. Aquatic Center extend hours beginning in December

CLARKSTON, WA - The Asotin County Family Aquatic Center is increasing their hours starting at the beginning of December.

The passage of Proposition-Two is bringing in nearly $500,000 of tax revenue next year. Director Nick Bacon said the majority of complaints they received when they didn't have the much needed funding was their hours of operation. To show their appreciation of the passage of Prop-2 they're adding five extra hours each week.

"Would be a way to show an immediate response and gratitude to the voters of Asotin county for their overwhelming support of Proposition-Two," said Bacon.

The money for Prop-2 isn't anticipated until early next year. They'll be using money from their general fund to pay for the wages until then.
