Secretary of the Asotin County Fair Board Arlene Mullins said they're looking to move the rodeo to the second week of April. In years past, the rodeo and fair both take place on the last weekend of April. But Mullins said the board believes by separating the two events, parking may be more manageable, and participants involved in the fair can attend all events.
The board is in discussion with the Asotin County Commissioners to finalize the changes. Members of the fair board declined on-camera comments until the changes are confirmed.
