The $400,000 bid was placed on Thursday. The bid comes after the minimum auction bid for the Federal Building was dropped from $300,000 to $200,000. The five story building, located in downtown Moscow, houses a post office, a US District Court, and many other offices.
The tenants will remain in the building at least two years after the building is sold. The US General Services Administration will hold two more open houses, one on Friday and another on October fifth. The auction will close at noon on October twelfth.
