Bicyclist receives traffic ticket after crashing her bike

MOSCOW, ID - A Moscow woman is recovering after a bike crash in Moscow Friday.

Shortly after 11:00 a.m., 20-year-old Jessica LeBlanc was leaving Walgreens on Main Street when she cut across four lanes of traffic on her bicycle.

She was hit by a pick-up truck in the farthest lane and thrown about 19-feet. LeBlanc was taken to Gritman Medical Center with head and possible internal injuries.

Although she was on a bike, LeBlanc was still cited with a misdemeanor of reckless driving.
