Brazen robbers in Moscow threaten two victims with baseball bats

MOSCOW, ID - An apartment in East Moscow was robbed early Thursday morning and police are asking for your help to find the suspects.

According to Moscow Police, two men entered the apartment on the 900 block of East Sixth Street. They threatened the two people inside with baseball bats, and forced the victims to get on the ground while they robbed the home. Lieutenant Dave Lehmitz said the Moscow Police Department doesn't see crimes like this one very often.

"It's very concerning," said Lehmitz. "So we're hoping to be able to develop some leads and have input from the public, and get these people in custody."

The suspects got away with about a thousand-dollars in cash, in addition to cell phones, jewelry, and a wallet. Lehmitz said the victims did have minor injuries because the robbers punched them.

Police describe the suspects as two white males in their early twenties with a thin build. One of about five-foot-six with orange or red hair, and the other is about five-foot-ten. If you have any information about this robbery, you're asked to call the Moscow Police Department at 208-882-COPS.
