Martin guided Gritman for 11-years before he tragically passed in 2010. To honor him, Gritman is building a wind sculpture garden this fall.
The Open House gave the public a chance to see the designs and elements up close, and to add their own personal touch to the display with a plaque or a brick.
The event also featured some of Martin's favorite breakfast foods, centerpieces full of footballs, his favorite sport, and pictures of Martin playing on a projection screen.
"I just think it's so great that so many people came out today, almost four years later with strong memories of Jeff and wanting to honor what he did for us as an organization and us as a community," said Director of Volunteer Services at Gritman, Debi Dockins. "He really lives on in the hearts of so many people here."
