Broncheau indicted by federal grand jury

LEWISTON, ID - A Winchester man, accused of shooting his mother then setting her on fire was indicted Tuesday by a federal grand jury.

Kenneth Broncheau, 48, is being charged with first degree murder and if convicted he could spend life in prison and receive a $250,000 fine. Because Broncheau is a member of the Nez Perce Tribe, he'll be tried in federal court. Broncheau was detained in June of 2012 after allegedly murdering his mother, Carol Haskell.
