All three storm water ponds are 100% complete, all main systems have been tested and are good to go, all sewer lines have been flushed and construction crews are planning for a full schedule next week.
"Next week we're going to be bringing in Avista with the gas," said Western States Site Manager, Joshua Russell. "Cable One is going to come lay the cable conduits, and we're going to try and get that all done next week."
In the following weeks they plan to get curb and gutter laid and they hope to be done paving about a month ahead of schedule.
Port leaders are also talking about a plan with Avista that could pay for almost $200,000 in infrastructure costs. Avista would credit the amount needed and the port would have five years to pay Avista back.
Wanda Keefer, Port Manager, plans to sit down with Avista and the attorney soon to talk about a contract.
