Cathy McMorris Rodgers visits Pullman
PULLMAN, WA —
Cathy McMorris Rodgers hosted a town hall in Pullman at the Pioneer Center. She spoke for fifteen minutes then fielded questions for the other forty five. The meeting got a little hostile when discussing DACA, protecting the United States border with a wall and healthcare. Rodgers said there were some tough questions asked but she has these meetings because this is truly representative democracy.
"Well I want them to know I'm making myself available we may not always agree on every issue but let's look to find those areas where we can come together and if we can't even talk to each other we will never be able to solve problem," she said.
