Clarkston man released from St. Joseph Regional Hospital after stabbing

CLARKSTON, WA - A 50-year old Clarkston man is out of the hospital after being stabbed several times Tuesday night.

Randall Rathburn is the man who was stabbed. Asotin County Sheriff's deputies and Clarkston police responded. They found Rathburn on the 1300 block of Libby Street.

"Two deputies found an individual sitting on the front steps with blood," Asotin County Sheriff Ken Bancroft. "He indicated that he had been stabbed by another individual."

Rathburn was released from the hospital Wednesday afternoon.
James Pressnell, 49, of Clarkston was arrested on an unrelated warrant after the stabbing. Sheriff Bancroft said Pressnell is a suspect in the case, but hasn't been charged for it.
