Commissioners' discuss local issues with Boise legislators at workshop

LEWISTON, ID - County Commissioners from all over Idaho returned to work Monday after a trip to the state's capitol.

All elected officials attended a four day workshop in Boise. The annual workshop provides the opportunity for officials to talk to their legislators about various ongoing issues that affect their respective communities.

"I would say its very important to get our issue out there at a local level particularly where it relates to business personal property tax," said Nez Perce County Commission Chairman Douglas Zenner.

The workshops ranged in a variety of areas, and Governor Butch Otter was one of many key note speakers. Nez Perce County Commissioners said that they're excited to apply all they learned in their daily practices.
