The team took this group photo on Saturday to thank everyone for the support they received after their storage unit was robbed and thousands of dollars worth of winter sporting goods were stolen. The Moscow Rebels made national headlines after the robbery last week, and support from local businesses and people across the nation came pouring in.
"I have never been so happy or excited about anything in a really long time," said Moscow Rebels Special Olympics Head Coach Elizabeth King. "The generosity, the support from everybody, it has been just amazing."
The Special Olympics State Games will start in Sun Valley on Friday, and King said they have everything they need to participate.
Moscow Police are still investigating the robbery. If you have any information related to this crime, contact the Moscow Police Department at (208) 882-2677.
