Community policing pays off in Kamiah
KAMIAH, ID —
Last Friday night, Deputy Sam AuGello in Idaho County pulled over Tonna Funderburg, knowing that she didn’t hold a valid driver’s license. He stopped her on Pine Street in Kamiah.
Funderburg was then placed under arrest for felony driving under the influence, felony unlawful possession of a firearm, misdemeanor possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
She’s being held without bond on a probation and parole warrant.
Community policing is a concept where law enforcement is familiar with the neighborhoods and people in their areas.
