Crowds flock to Pioneer Park for P1FCU Old Fashioned 4th of July

LEWISTON, ID - The City of Lewiston Parks and Recreation Department teams up with P1FCU for an Old Fashioned 4th of July Family Fun Day and Show and Shine.

Crowds flocked to Pioneer Park to enjoy games and activities, listen to the Lewiston Community Band perform and enjoy some festive independence day food. Even some of us here at KLEW news got to be involved in the family fun day... though it was a bit more wet for us than most attendees.

"I'm cooled off and loving it," said KLEW-TV Anchor Morgan Aguilar. "I was really nervous before the ball was thrown but now that I'm in the water it's great."

Our very own Morgan Aguilar right there, being a very good sport at the dunk tank, which raised money for the Lewiston High School cheer squad. Along the edge of the park, classic cars lined up as everyone enjoyed a sunny day at the park. The event is held annually at Pioneer Park for the fourth of July.
