Delta Sigma Phi's chapter in Pullman is suspended

PULLMAN, WA - A fraternity at Washington State University is suspended after violating multiple university and national fraternity policies.

According to the Delta Sigma Phi website, the WSU chapter of more than 80 members was evaluated by the national fraternity during the fall 2013 semester, and the organization decided to suspend the local chapter on January 19th.

A letter from the Delta Sigma Phi Executive Director says the suspension is due to a long list of things including violations of university and national fraternity policies, member misconduct, disregard of the chapter facility, low academic performance, and failure to meet financial obligations.

This is a two-year suspension that will last through the spring 2016 semester.
