Donations from haircuts will buy gifts for Northwest Children’s Home
LEWISTON, ID —
The owner of Mr. Leon’s School of Hair Design said both locations, in Lewiston and Moscow, will be offering haircuts by donation only.
Every year, they adopt a place for Christmas and raise money to make sure their holidays will be a little warmer. This year, they’re focusing on the Northwest Children’s Home.
Mr. Leon’s School of Hair Design will hold their event on Monday. The money raised will go towards buying presents for the kids. Owner Lisa Salisbury said the Northwest Children’s home is near and dear to her heart.
“Just something really special about kids that don't have families at Christmas and if we can just make a little bit of a difference in their life and show them love and give them hope and let them know that people out in our community really love them and support them and we just thought, what could we do?”
Salisbury said the donation amount is up to you, from a penny up to how much you want to give. She hopes to see you there.
Mr. Leon’s School of Hair Design is located at 205 10th Street in Lewiston. In Moscow they are located at 618 South Main Street.
