Driver cited for reckless driving after head-on collision on Hwy 95

MOSCOW, ID - A head-on collision on Highway 95 south of Moscow blocked traffic in both directions earlier Monday and sent three people to the hospital.

The accident occurred shortly before 10 a.m., and the traffic jam was cleared around noon. According to Idaho State Police, 35-year-old Ryan Ludemann was driving north on Highway 95 and hit a southbound Subaru sedan head-on.

"Initial reports indicate that the driver of the white Chevy pickup went left of the double yellow center-line," said Idaho State Police Sergeant Rich Adamson.

Both drivers and the passenger of the Subaru were sent to Gritman Medical Center. Everyone involved was wearing a seat-belt, and Ludemann was cited for reckless driving.
