Drug bust nets two pounds of pot and hash oil headed to LC Valley

COLFAX, WA - It's been a busy week for the Quad-Cities Drug Task Force, after busting a large marijuana grow operation outside of Dusty on Wednesday.

They made another drug bust in Colfax on Thursday. According to the Whitman County Sheriff's Office, Quad-Cities Drug Task Force detectives and Lewiston Police officers intercepted two pounds of marijuana and over 100 grams of hash oil Thursday afternoon.

Spokane residents 32-year-old Eiston McPherson and 21-year-old Jonathan Love were driving southbound with the drugs on Highway-195, and they were pulled over in Colfax. Investigators said the drugs were allegedly being transported to the L-C Valley for distribution.

The two men were arrested and booked into the Whitman County Jail on charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. They appeared in court Friday morning and were released on their own recognizance.
