DUI arrests increase over weekend before St. Paddy's Day

MOSCOW, ID - For many people, St. Patty's Day is a time to party, which means Idaho Law Enforcement agencies have extra officers patrolling the roads and watching for impaired drivers.

The impaired driver mobilization started on Saturday, and six DUI arrests were made in Latah County over the weekend. Latah County sheriff's deputies made four arrests, and Moscow police officers made two. Both agencies said that's more DUI arrests than they normally make over a weekend. In Whitman County, sheriff's deputies made three DUI arrests.
