Early morning crash leaves neighborhood stunned

MOSCOW, ID - A driver damaged two other cars and a motorcycle when he crashed his SUV early Thursday morning in a northern Moscow neighborhood.

Moscow police believe that the 24-year-old Moscow man was driving drunk when he drove into a large pickup truck, pushing it into a Corvette that was parked in a driveway across the street. The Corvette was then pushed into the garage and damaged a motorcycle that was parked inside.

"Just an unbelievable night. We actual had the whole block was out here watching, and just couldn't believe how much damage one person could cause," said Neighbor Lianne Wappett.

This all happened around 3:00 a.m. on Quail Run Drive in Moscow. The driver was able to walk away from the vehicle, but he was taken to Gritman Medical Center with minor injuries. Police are running a blood test to determine if he was intoxicated. The crash caused an estimated $25,000 in damage.
