Feinstein Million Dollar Challenge will help fill the shelves at Asotin Co. Foodbank

CLARKSTON, WA - The Asotin County Foodbank is once again entering the Feinstein Million Dollar Challenge and they need your help!

Every year for nearly two decades, Alan Feinstein of Rhode Island gives one-million dollars to anti-hunger groups around the country. For every dollar or food item donated to the Asotin County Foodbank during March and April, Feinstein will give a percentage of his million dollar donation to the organization.

"Especially in small communities it probably gives them another way of generating more revenue in one way or another for themselves," said Asotin Co. Foodbank Board President, Joanne Huntley.

Huntley said they've been low in donations so far this year and the Million Dollar Challenge would help them before the slow summer months. Last year they received $500 from the Feinstein Foundation.
