This Saturday is the first day people can buy fireworks in Washington.
Stands are scheduled to open at noon and they'll stay open until July fifth.
Rod McKee has been selling fireworks at the same location on Highland Avenue for 13-years. He said selling fireworks is about more than just business.
"We really think Fourth of July is a family type of holiday," said McKee. "So, we like to see mom, dad and the kids come out and have fun buying fireworks. It's something you don't get to do often."
Stands open at noon on Saturday and they'll stay open until 11 p.m. each night through July fifth.
