Court documents say Mercedes Turner of Lewiston is claiming that the city had her working nights and weekends without overtime pay.
According to court documents Turner was employed by the city from 2006 until January of 2011 and during that time she accrued nearly 900 hours of overtime that went unpaid among other unpaid wages.
Turner also claims the city never refunded city expenses that she paid for out of pocket.
Turner is asking for the case to be decided by a 12-person jury trial. Neither, Turner or a representative of the City of Lapwai had any comment when KLEW News called.
