Gina Quesenberry Foundation Golf Tournament

LEWISTON, ID - It's the time of the year where the sun is out and the temperature is just right. So what better way to kick off the summer than to spend it at the Lewiston Country Club for a four-man golf scramble?

The Gina Quesenberry Foundation held their annual golf tournament at 2 p.m. on Saturday to raise awareness for the organization. Founder Laynie McClain said the Gina Quesenberry Foundation uses the money they raise to assist those in the Valley who are fighting breast cancer.

"This is one of the events that we've been putting on the longest, so it's one of my favorites," said McClain.

McClain hopes the event raises at least $12,000 this year. There's still time to register before the event Saturday, just be sure to get to the golf course before the two o-clock shotgun start.
