Information that the Sheriff's office received was two males had received injuries involving gunshot wounds and were in the Waha area when it happened. Responding deputies contacted the two males, a 33-year-old white male and a 22-year-old white male.
Through investigation, deputies determined the gunshot wounds were a result of self-inflicted accidental discharges of the firearms. Victims and witnesses contacted by deputies confirmed the gunshot injuries were accidental; the two incidents were not related and were in different areas of Waha. The injuries sustained were minor and not life threatening.
