High flying action took place at third Supercross of the year

LEWISTON, ID - Extreme sports fans got their third taste of some high-octane action at the roundup grounds recently.

It's the Lewiston summer Supercross at the roundup grounds, and what a time it was last Saturday. Not as many fans came out as expected for such a beautiful night, but that didn't stop these hardcore racers from competing as hard as possible.

Looking at a few results, Canadian Supercross Champion Ross Johnson won the 250 pro event. He was also the instructor for Thursday and Friday's Supercross school. Jason Potter from Spokane won the 450 pro event. As for the kids, Nick Shears from Cottonwood took the gold in the 450 junior event, while Lincoln Skinner won the 65 event in an event that was close the entire time.

Congrats to all who competed in this fun event. We'll see you at the next one!
