Idaho Capitol replica project in need of donations

LEWISTON, ID - The replica capitol building in downtown Lewiston is almost done, but donations are still needed.

The group behind the First Territorial Capitol of Idaho Revitalization Project is asking for tax-deductible donations or materials to re-create a piece of Idaho history. The money will be used to complete last minute and final touches and will also help in moving the replica building to its permanent location on Third street.

"We're investing in our future," said Territorial Capitol Project President John Mock. "This is an investment for the sesquicentennial and this is a lasting legacy for Lewiston, the state, community and our region."

All donations can be sent to The Idaho Capitol Project, PO Box 2167 in Lewiston. The Grand Opening of the Territorial Capitol is set for July 10th at 11 a.m.
