She said their horse, Dyna will remain at the Lewiston Veterinary Clinic for another week until she is fully healed. Christensen believes Dyna will be able to walk again, even though they had to remove most of the muscle and tissue from the mare's leg.
The Idaho Department of Fish and Game sent out a group of hounds to track down the cougar, but have been unsuccessful so far. He said they're now relying on sightings of the wild animal from local residents before they go back out to search.
