Idahoans are paying $3.37 on average for a gallon of gas, that's almost ten-cents less than 2013. But how are those stats playing out on the roadways? AAA Spokesperson Dave Carlson said drivers confidence is up.
"We are getting use to higher gasoline prices, and the economy is mending a bit," said Carlson. "Actually right now our gasoline prices compared to two years prior are lower than they have been. And they're substantially lower in the U.S. and Idaho."
According to the Federal Highway Administration there were 18.1 billion additional miles traveled in 2013 compared to the year before.
