Idaho National Laboratory grant benefits Genesee schools

GENESEE, ID - The Genesee K through 12th grade school is one of two facilities receiving a classroom makeover from the Idaho National Laboratory.

A $10,000 grant is going towards helping the kids create a recycling center that will help them clean and recycle the plastic milk bottles from their lunch. It's also going to help the middle school children recycle more easily and efficiently.

The INL gives away approximately $50,000 a year in mini-grants and classroom makeovers to help the future scientists of tomorrow.
