IDFG Open House meetings scheduled for proposed big game season changes

LEWISTON, ID - For most hunters it's never too early to start thinking about taking aim at some big game, which is why the Idaho Department of Fish and Game wants to hear what you think about proposed changes to the 2014 seasons.

The Idaho Department of Fish and Game will hold four open house meetings, that will give the public a chance to visit with fish and game leaders. All comments will be presented to the Fish and Game Commission before their March meeting, where they'll take final action on the proposals.

Each meeting is scheduled from 5:00-7:00 p.m. The first meeting will be at the Lewiston Fish and Game Regional Office, on Tuesday, February 18th. Following that a meeting on Wednesday will be held at the Grangeville Senior Citizens Center. Fish and game officials will travel up to the Palouse on Thursday, February 20th and hold a meeting at the Moscow Latah County Fairgrounds exhibit building.
And the final meeting will be held the following week at the Orofino Idaho Department of Fish Game Clearwater Hatchery on Tuesday, February 25th. Once again all the meetings are scheduled from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
