Infestation forces L.C. Animal Shelter to throw out stockpile of food

LEWISTON, ID - A recent mice and bug infestation has left the Lewis Clark Animal Shelter short on food supplies.

The shelter was forced to throw out a large percentage of their food and is asking for the community's help to restock, especially for the coming winter months. The shelter is accepting any size, type and brand of both cat and dog food and will accept open bags as long as they're in their original container.

It's important to note that the Lewis Clark Animal Shelter is partially responsible for feeding the animals in the L.C. Valley if a national disaster or any type of emergency were to happen.
