Judson Preece charged with second incident of child molestation

PULLMAN, WA - A former Washington State University employee is facing a new child molestation charge.

Judson Preece, 49, was arrested for second degree child molestation charges in August after a 13-year-old girl reported he touched her inappropriately. He pleaded not guilty, but according to Whitman County Chief Deputy Prosecutor Bill Druffel, Preece is now facing a new charge of first degree child molestation after being accused of a second incident with a child younger than 12-years-old. Druffel said that incident happened in late May.

Preece will be arraigned for the new charge on November first, and Druffel said he intends to try the charges together. Before his arrest, Preece worked for the WSU Alumni Association as the Senior Associate Director of Membership Services.
